Accounting Lead

Salary: $140-150k/year + Bonus
Client/Job Summary:
Our client is a fast-growing, innovative fintech company looking for an accounting lead to build the accounting function. This role gives the opportunity for full ownership, working closely with senior leadership, and being part of a fast-growing firm.
Key Responsibilities:
• Document and oversee the company's finance and accounting processes including month-end close, reconciliations, and general ledger.
• Develop accounting policies, implement internal controls, and prepare for audits.
• Implement accounting tools and ERP systems.
• Support with budgeting and forecasting.
• Support expense and cost management.
Key Qualifications:
• Active CPA strongly preferred (or actively pursuing)
• 3-5+ YOE in public accounting (Big 4 preferred) working with tech or high-growth clients.
• Strong technical accounting skills (revenue recognition and complex transactions)
• Experience implementing accounting systems (NetSuite, QuickBooks, Sage Intacct)
• Experience with or passion for crypto, digital payments, or Web3
• Bonus: Prior experience with digital asset accounting, payment processing companies, or fintech startups
